- You READ THE FAQ. FAQ stands for "Frequently Asked Questions" which this
- certainly is. You wait for the FAQ to be posted to this newsgroup, which
- happens about once every month, or you ftp to rtfm.mit.edu and get it there.
- Once you've done that, you look for the "How can I get the current date or
- time of day in a C program?" question, (which is number 12.5 in my copy,
- but may be different in the latest version) and you read the answer. Then do
- what the answer says to do, voila, you'll have the date in your C program.
